Secondary infertility - refers to a couple who has successfully had children in the past, but when they try to have more children, they are unable to achieve pregnancy after one year of unprotected sex.  The causes, treatments, and symptoms of secondary infertility are essentially the same as those with primary infertility.

Sperm morphology - the shape and/or form of the sperm cells.

Sperm motility - the movement of the sperm. Poor sperm motility means that the sperm do not swim properly, which can lead to male infertility.
